Associate and Full Members of the C.C.E. receive discounts to many of our events (screenings, panel discussions and our annual awards night), and can often receive discounts to cultural events that offer 'Arts organization discounts'. Also, through the generosity of the A.C.E., C.C.E. Associate and Full members are given $100 discounts off registration to EditFest N.Y. and EditFest L.A.
Full Membership nominations next deadline is March 31st, 2012, with jury decisions announced April 30th, 2011

FULL MEMBERSHIP
Each current Full Member will be asked in March to submit 2 names of editors they would like considered for Full Membership, along with a brief synopsis of why these candidates are being submitted. In April a jury of current Full Members will then investigate the names put forth and will determine who they believe deserving of the honour for Full Membership. The jury will be charged with upholding the high ideals and excellence in craft that befit having C.C.E. after the name. Editors from all categories/genres may be submitted, but they must have a basic minimum requirement of 60 hours of edited content in a combination of t.v. and feature films, or 6 feature films. Only those accepted will be notified, and otherwise the applicants will not know their names have been put forth. In order to minimize any hurt feelings to those who may be rejected, we ask that applicants not be told they have been submitted for consideration.
Acceptance as Full Member allows use of the initials C.C.E. in screen credits denoting a professional excellence.
Annual dues for Full Membership are $150.00.

**Associate membership is open to Editors, Assistants, Post Supervisors and others who share a passion for the craft and for learning. The annual cost for Associate membership is $100.00/yr. Use of the intials C.C.E. is not allowed for Associate Members.
***Student membership is for students who are able to provide documentation showing enrollment for 2010-2011 in a full time media-directed program. Cost is $30/yr.
