Full Membership applications will be processed April 30, 2011, with jury decisions announced May 31, 2011. All applicable paperwork for the prospective member must be submitted by April 30, 2011 for jury deliberations.
The next deadline for Associate Memberships and Student Memberships is September 30, 2010.

FULL MEMBERSHIP
Effective July 1, 2009 Potential full members must be sponsored by two current C.C.E. Full Members (the potential member will be contacted to confirm their interest in being a part of C.C.E).

The two current Full Members must provide letters of reference with details of their knowledge of the potential member's character and body of work, and the applicant must provide either a demo reel or a DVD of their feature/episodic of choice.

The potential member must have a minimum of 60 hours of edited content in a combination of t.v. and feature films, or 6 feature films - the 60 hours is intended only as a starting point.

Additionally, the applicant will have their body of work reviewed by a jury of a minimum 7 full members of the C.C.E. from across the country. The jury will be looking at personal dedication and enthusiasm to the craft and overall achievement in editing.

If your application is not successful, we hope you will accept our invitation into Associate Membership. Acceptance as Full Member allows use of the initials C.C.E. in screen credits denoting a professional excellence.

Annual dues for Full Membership are $125.00.

**Associate membership requires presentation of some experience in the editing room, a passion for the craft and for learning. The annual cost for Associate membership is $75.00/yr. Use of the intials C.C.E. is not allowed for Associate Members.

***Student membership is for students who are able to provide documentation showing enrollment for 2010-2011 in a full time media-directed program. Cost is $30/yr.

NOTE: Upon acceptance you will be contacted by our accountants at Complete Accounting Inc., and asked to send a cheque in the applicable amount.
